After a long search in deciding what mattress I wanted to buy I decided on the Shire Eco Sound mattress after coming across it in a showroom locally. I always wanted to invest in a memory foam mattress but as my current mattress is still in OK shape I decided to buy a memory foam topper. Was an inspired choice, as the memory foam layer considerably upgrades my current mattress. It is thick enough to really feel all the benefits of the foam and plus it avoids me buying a costly brand new mattress.

This topper is brill, didn't want to shell out for a whole new mattress but always fancied trying a memory foam mattress. It does make a big difference to the pocket springs mattress we have. Having said this I think we will quite soon be upgrading the whole thing and getting a proper memory foam mattress with the pocket springs as well, it has made us realise that getting a really good mattress would make such a difference as we are both light sleepers.
