After a long search in deciding what mattress I wanted to buy I decided on the Shire Eco Sound mattress after coming across it in a showroom locally. Super King size mattresses are slightly growing in popularity today and are the largest standard size in the UK. If you share a bed with a partner, you should go for a Superking mattress as it will offer you both a royal sleeping surface. The more space you have to yourself in the bed, the better quality sleep you are likely to get.

 

When choosing a new mattress, bear in mind that mattress sizes in the UK remain the same whichever manufacturer makes the mattress. This is sometimes not the case for divans and besteads but always the case for mattresses. The industry standard for a superking size mattress is 180cm x 200cm, which is 6’. European and North American sizes for Superking mattresses can differ so be aware of this if you have imported your bed.
