Here at Wedo Mattresses we are pleased to be able to offer anyone looking for a traditionally sprung mattress which is completely anti bed bug this Shire Euro eco Easy Mattress. It is the cheapest of the mattresses in it's range but it is still made to the highest standards as the others, just with a more affordable spring system.
The open coil spring system is made from a 13.5 gauge spring unit, this is a medium firmness, nowhere near as firm as the ecoDrift so suitable for lighter people or anyone who doesn't enjoy a firm mattress. The spring unit also has a rod edge wire frame, this helps to give the mattress shape as well as preventing roll-off. Around this spring unit and layers of polyester, reflex foam and luxurious fillings. The effect is to supplement the coil sprung unit's support with enough comfort to satisfy even the most demanding of sleepers.
These natural fillings and the cover are all treated with Ecoshield, an insect repellent which is completely harmless to humans and actually smells good as well. Its main active ingredient is 100% natural eucalyptus oil which not only has a subtle but pleasant smell, but is also known to help relieve sinus infections, bronchitis, flu and the common cold. The active ingredient is held in microcapsules which are released it over a long period of time by only breaking open when the mattress is in use. This is an excellent meeting of science and nature and will ensure that this mattress and all the others in this range provide possibly the healthiest sleeping environment possible.
All the mattresses in this range are finished with a high level of quality and by craftsmen with a high level of skill. For example, this mattress, like the others, is hand tufted, a process which involves lengths of material being passed through the mattress. This helps to secure all the layers in place and prevent them from moving around, meaning the mattress keeps it shape for longer and therefore last longer. There are handles on the sides for ease of movement, as well as vents which allow air to flow freely through the mattress.
