After a long search in deciding what mattress I wanted to buy I decided on the Shire Eco Sound mattress after coming across it in a showroom locally.     sumptuously soft but firm

    Best of both worlds, firm and supportive, but just so delightful to lie on. I asked about the number of springs as you usually see these on a pocket mattress, but apparently Hypnos don't like to say. I got it out of them that it is roughly 1000, the same for all the Hypnos mattresses, but its all about the "turns" in the springs with these. Either way, I'm very pleased so would definitely recommend this
