At Wedo Mattresses we are pleased to be able to bring you the Opera Beds range. The Opera Beds Libero 1500 Pocket Mattress is a more luxurious option than the Anima, as it has 1500 springs, giving it a slightly more supportive feel but with the same quality, comfort and natural materials.
There are 1500 pocket springs in this mattress which are hand nested and use an Active Support Technology that helps you to find the perfect sleeping position, so that you can relax into a pleasant and reinvigorating sleep. The reason the springs can do this is because they each sit inside of their own fabric pockets and are therefore not attached directly to each other. This allows them to move independently of each other, so that they contour to the natural shape of your body, giving the parts of your body that need more support just that.
The mattress also has completely natural fillings, alongside the excellent support from the springs, which not only makes it more comfortable than a mattress featuring man made fillings, but also prolongs the life of the mattress. This mattress includes silk, wool, cotton, pure white cashmere and mohair. These all perform a different function, from the mohair allowing air to flow through the mattress better to the softening effect of the cotton and cashmere. Another extra benefit of natural fibres is that they cause fewer allergic reactions and are much more ecologically friendly, all coming from renewable sources and involving no chemicals in their manufacture.
The mattress is also available in either a medium, firm or dual tension. The dual tension is with one half of the mattress with a medium tension and the other firm. This means that if you and your partner have different preferences when it comes to firmness you can both have what you want. Just remember, when you turn the mattress you will need to rotate it as well.
It is finished with a superior damask cover and hand tufting, which ensures all the fillings stay in place. The sides are hand stitched with 4 tier stitching, which ties all the fillings into the springs so that the mattress is more durable and sturdier. There are also 5 flag stitched handles that make it easier to turn and move.

- medium is perfect
Being able to choose the firmness was very interesting, don't see that in many shops. Went for medium as I don't like my bed too firm. Comfortable as a cloud! Price good too, couldn't see it cheaper anywhere else

Only thing I would have changed about this mattress and purchase is to have been able to have the mattress next day, but that is such a minor thing when it is so comfortable. It is advertised as 7 day, at the moment, so its not a complaint, just wish I'd got another 6 nights sleep out of it! Its firm but bouncy n soft at the same time if you see what I mean, suppose its the support and comfort side of it. Definitely recommend this to anyone umming and ahhing.

Not convinced that more springs is more comfortable, Ive had mattresses with more springs before but think I prefer this which has fewer. Couldn't really think of a fault with this, hopefully it will last us for years, feels like it will so feeling confident

- So pleased with it
This is such a wonderful mattress, I wish my partner had condescended to agree to getting a new mattress years ago now! It just feels like a proper mattress and worth every penny. We have the dual tension option as I prefer a firmer feeling and my partner a softer feel, you really notice the difference and it is a great idea.
